For Prospective International Students
Studying in the United States is an exciting prospect, but one that requires hard work and dedication. There are many steps before your dream can become a reality, but the Office of Admissions, in conjunction with the Office of International Education at RMC, are here to help.
Admissions and financial aid
Applying to ¹û¶³´«Ã½app is convenient…and free! There are two ways to apply: through the Common Application or through RMC’s Application. You only need to complete one of the two options – it’s completely a matter of personal preference. Find out more by clicking the link below.
International student applicants are eligible to receive academic scholarships, which are awarded during the admissions process. Additionally, RMC is a proud partner of the Davis United World Scholars Program. Graduates of any UWC institution who are granted admission into RMC are awarded a full-tuition scholarship, covering direct costs of tuition, fees, housing and meals.
Transitioning from Admissions to oie
Once you have been accepted to RMC, paid your deposit, and been issued the I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility) the Office of International Education (OIE) will provide you more information about applying for a visa.
Prior to your arrival, the OIE will also provide Pre-Arrival Orientation, make arrangements for your pickup from Richmond International Airport (RIC), and help you think about what you should pack! New international students arrive early on campus so they can settle in, go shopping and learn more about life in the United States when they participate in International Student Orientation.
